About 'thuis
A social housing landlord that provides affordable, sustainable living space in, among others, Eindhoven, Veldhoven, Best, Son & Breugel, Waalre and Oirschot. Rents out and manages homes, builds new sustainable homes and strongly invests in Lean management.
The trigger
The desire to reduce maintenance time on reports, develop more custom reports and respond faster to changing KPI and process needs. Existing reports did not work well and had a long "time to repair".
Alternatives considered
Blue Mountain and ZIG — both perceived as too expensive for too little added value and with forced standard reports.
Decisive criteria
- Flexibility (no standard reports)
- Alignment with Lean management
- Transparency and truthfulness of data
- Better price-quality ratio
- Scrum way of working with clear deliverables (three-weekly sprints)
Concrete benefits
- Better report performance
- Faster traceability of errors, shorter resolution time
- More transparency about truthfulness
- Always up-to-date data
- Less management complexity toward Power BI
Quote
"Yres is truly worth its weight in gold. It reduces complexity toward Power BI reports and makes data a lot more accessible." (Yres is echt wel goud waard. Het reduceert de complexiteit richting Power BI-rapportages en maakt data een stuk toegankelijker.)
Point for improvement (honest)
According to Toin, the weakest part is marketing and visibility — Plainwater/Yres is too modest and insufficiently visible in the sector. Advice: more demonstrations, presence at events and publications in trade journals.
